When I had an iPad, it had an awesome personalized case that I loved. It wasn’t plastic, nor did it offer that extreme protection that would be needed if used by a child. It was simply a cover that could open like a book, protecting my iPad when not in use. When it came to my kids getting their hands on the iPads, I knew that I needed that extra protection in case of being dropped, having something dropped on it, water proofing, etc. I put those cases on all of the Apple devices. But now that my kids have their own iPads, the grown-ups can go back to having something sleek and professional.
My husband removed the plastic case from his iPad and waited for me to come up with the right case to protect it. He knows I can’t stand an unprotected device in a house of boys, toys and dogs. I came upon The Snugg Leather iPad Case, which comes in a rainbow of colors and an affordable price.
There are 15 colors to choose from, some stand out more than others. For example, a teenage girl (or 35 year old mom) might really love the Hot Pink. An older male might want the understated gray or distressed brown. For my husband, I tend to choose colors in shades of Blue. The Leather iPad case came in Electric Blue and Baby Blue. I figured (correctly) that the Electric Blue was more his style. I preferred it to Black because it would stand out more if he left it on a couch or bed and went searching the house for it.
It is a leather case, I love the leather detailing and contrast stitching on it. The iPad slips into a pocket to hold it in place. The cover opens and closes like a book to protect the screen when the iPad is not in use. When in use, the cover doubles as a stand, slipping into a “pocket” on the back. You can have it standing in two different “recline” positions.
It has a holder for a stylus/pen if needed. All oft-used ports and buttons are still easily accessible. If you are holding your iPad, there is a place to slide your hand into a loop to keep it securely in your hands as you use the screen. Little details like that make me really glad that my husband’s iPad is protected by theSnugg.
